Nadal The Nadal Porcelain Company is probably the oldest contemporary fine porcelain manufacturer in the Valencia region of Spain. The company was founded in 1915 by José Asunción once he had perfected the process for the manufacture of porcelain figurines. The company itself was named after his wife Dona Margarita Nadal. Today Nadal is a modern leading producer of porcelain figurines with highly skilled members of staff who guard the secrets of the techniques which have been learned over the years. The craftsmanship of the figurines is clearly demonstrated by the flowers on every Nadal figurine, which right down to the last petal are entirely hand made and makes every floral arrangement different and unique. Although little is known about this company outside Spain and it has only a fraction of the market that has been generated by the more ambitious Lladró company, collectors who encounter Nadal will be impressed by the obvious quality and value for money of the figurines.
