Aynsley China Aynsley China has a history stretching back over two hundred years. In 1775, John Aynsley established a factory at Lane End, which is now Longton and became one of Stoke-on-Trent's earliest master potters. His company prospered and became one of the leading influences in the British china industry. When his grandson John Aynsley II took over the reins, the company moved into the forefront of fine bone china manufacture for which it is renowned today. As a result of his success the Portland Works was opened in 1861 and fine traditional wares still produced in the factory today. Aynsley has supplied specially commissioned tableware and giftware to royalty, governments and companies all over the world. Paul Smith China stocks giftware, lighting and tableware. In giftware our range surpasses many larger outlets since we stock Wild Tudor, Cottage Garden, Little Sweetheart, Pembroke, Orchard Gold, Edwardian Kitchen Garden and Elizabeth Rose. If you are looking for that traditional item Aynsley is sure to fit the bill. |
